Berkeley Graphics LLC is registered in the state of Delaware, USA, and is bound by the applicable rules, regulations, and laws.

Privacy at Berkeley Graphics

At Berkeley Graphics, we treat privacy extremely seriously and try to avoid the storage of personally identifiable information (PII) as much as possible.

Summary: We only store what's necessary. We do not have a database and customer information is stored with Stripe. We store information that's necessary to interact with you (send emails, beta testing, etc.)

What data do we collect?
We store a session cookie to protect form submissions from Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). We use Google Analytics, and it may store cookies in your browser.
We use Stripe as our payment gateway. There is no database of user records that we keep. All transactional and financial data, as well as personal data (such as your email), is primarily stored with Stripe.
When you log in, we pull data from Stripe to verify your order information.
We keep server logs that log data non-PII data when you 1) Visit 2) Register 3) Purchase 4) Login or 5) Otherwise interact with our website and services. These logs do not contain any personal information (only Stripe sessions, ids, and events).
We also store and process your data when you voluntarily interact with us in our message boards, emails, feedback forms, surveys, beta programs, etc.
How do we use your data?
We use your data (stored with Stripe) to process your order and manage your account.
We use your data (stored with Stripe) to email you confirmation of the order (or cancellation).
We use logs (that do not contain your personal information) to debug our servers and applications.
We email you if you opted in for font updates during the checkout process or other newsletter forms. Your email newsletter/font-update consent and the email address itself is also stored with Stripe.
We do not sell your data to anyone for any reason.
How do we store your data?
Your data is primarily stored with Stripe, including things such as email consent for font updates and newsletters. All financial data is stored securely on Stripe. We use multi-factor authentication to access our Stripe account.
Logs are stored on a Debian (Bullseye v11) server at our business location. We retain logs for 30 days. Debian-based server is hardened with 3 layers of firewalls and no public in-bound access.
We do not have any database containing your transactional data, your account information, your orders, or your email/personal information. Everything is with Stripe.
